The Young Ones meet on the last Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm in the Moreton Hall Community Centre in Bury St Edmunds. Meetings are informal,(and sometimes humorous!) and we aim to support younger women and their family and friends through their diagnosis of breast cancer and the treatment that follows.
Everyone is welcome, just turn up and have a drink and an informal chat, you'll be made very welcome.
We're a really friendly bunch, and some wonderful friendships have been formed in the group.
We carry a large library of books, leaflets and information on treatments, diet,complimentary therapies, benefits, coping with hair loss and your feelings, talking to your children about cancer and many other subjects you may initially find daunting.These can be borrowed free of charge.
We have occcasional guest speakers from cancer charites and related organisations and fundraise to support these.
