This tutorial was created in Paint Shop Pro 7.
You do not need any external plugins.
Although this tutorial uses layers,
it is illustrated with many screenshots for beginners.
Please remember to save your work.
1. Open a new transparent image 500 x 500 pixels.
Click on Preset Shapes.
2. Make sure your foreground and background colours are white.
3. Use 'Star 3' and the settings as illustrated below.
4. Draw a star as illustrated below.
Be careful not to make it too big!
5. Go Objects and down to Align and across and down to Horz Centre in Canvas.
Go to layers and down to Convert to Raster Layer.
6. Go to layers and down to Duplicate.
Go to Image and down to Flip.
Go to Layers and down to Merge and across and down to Merge Visible.
7. Go to layers and down to Duplicate.
Go to Image and down to Rotate.
These settings.
It is important that 'All Layers' is not checked.
Go to Layers and down to Merge and across and down to Merge Visible.
