 BREATHTAKING SIGHTS.

Take time out to look round the other sites, historic and lively. Turn to your right out of the complex and first you will arrive at the town of Sitia. Follow the road from there to Ierapetra, another town with a pretty little harbour. If you have time, take the road from there to Myrtos. A little village type town that hasn't lost its' traditional Greek feel. Near the beach there are some delightful tavernas. We strongly recommend eating at the taverna owned by Yannis. It is a stunning place to sit surrounded by his stone sculptures. Remember its' name - the Kapovostassi.
Along from Myrtos is a Minoan settlement. If you feel energetic climb to the top and breathe in the wonderful air and feast your eyes on the views.

Oh! ...to be as green-fingered as the lady that owns this.
