I have traced my troughton ancestors back through the male lineage,
They lived in the former county of Westmorland, in the northwest of England
The earliest record I have found is of Thomas Troughton born 1680, my 6 x great grandfather.

Family Marriages: refers to the marriages of the siblings of my 2 x great grandfather Septimus Robinson Troughton, which I found during my research.

Other Surnames: Barrow,Cummings,Falloon,Hoggart,Robinson, refers to those who married into the Troughton line, whose families I am researching.
