Coventry in 2002 was officially named the dirtiest city in the country. It hit the news and hit the City Council. It had hit a new low that it was already steadily falling into. Officially the shit hole of the West Midlands. Drugs, prostitution and violence is basically on your front door and at exactly 5:30 every day, the Coventry city centre turns into a depressing ghost town where people from all over seem to come to kick each other heads in. (I've had someone shot in front of my house. The bloke died from a shot to the head, drugs apparently). It's a sad state. Coventry's official last great day was when they won the FA Cup in 1987.

Seeing kids pushing pushchairs, old tattoed men in drunken states and the city centre officially shit and a dump, you can only feel sorrow. Those Aussies in A Rough Guide To The World basically summed Coventry up.

Though Coventry may be in it's darkest hour, there may be hope though I pretty much don't believe that. The city centre is having it's Millenium Initiative makeover and new houses are being built in the places needed. There are some pleasent bits of the city (if you can find them). Still though, with a shit football team, we as a city may not come back up, and we still have the ruffians and scruffs rady to intoxicate, pimp, drug and then beat you senseless.

The purpose of this website is to show Coventry in it's colours. No matter how dark it is. Me, a fustrated Coventarian just wants to escape it. Some of this is fustration but I'll show other peoples fustrations too and show I'm not just a lonely sad act in the making. I'll try not toslag Coventry all the time though. If you have the misfortune of visiting here, I'll give details and tips of the city and where to go. REALLY!!!

If people here who are from Coventry and are disagreeing with what I say then you probably don't live in Cov anyway and if you did then your in denial. If people here are visiting in the near future then I say to you: BE WARNED!!!
