OUR CAT FAMILY SHOW RECORD.

Kittens from our lines continue to do extremely well on the show bench

We Are Very Proud Of The Following Charts. It was Extremely Hard For A Tonkinese To Have Received A First, Second Or Third Placement, in the nineties as they were usually in classes of up to  fourteen cats in the foreign section.

They have been placed above Grand Champions and Premiers many times

Minnie

Tonkitu Tsunyi had her moment of Glory when she won the Best Adult Female Trophy, beating the Best Breeders Adult Female. The largest class of the day. We thought that was the best she would do. We were very happy for her. But then went on to win Best in Show Adult. We were totally unaware of this Honour, when we were asked for her carrier.

She was given the title Overall Best In Show at the Tonkinese Cat Clubs first Exemption Show in 2001

Tonkaholics Fires Child and Tonkaholics Springs Joy, came joint second in 1998, for 'Our Cats/Whiskers Top Assessment Kitten, narrowly missing the top by one point. These two beauties are owned and loved, by our  friend, Maggie Hutchinson.

Grand Champion Tonkitu Flynn, sired by Tonkaholics Sundance, owned by Doreen Burke, won Supreme Provisional Exhibit 2000

Champion Tonkaholics Yokota Lily, owned by Amanda Lachlan, won Best of Breed and Best Tonkinese Kitten at the National Cat Club Show, 2000. She also won the Mary Hodkinson cup. She was also nominated for Best in Show at the Short-haired Cat Society, after winning another Best of Breed.

Grand Premier Tonkaholics Serendipity gained her title in 6 straight shows. Serendipity is very much loved by my good friend Kathy Wilkinson.

Kathy is also owned by  Grand Premier Tonkaholics Antares and Premier Tonkaholics Uncle Sam

We Love all our cats, for different reasons and although they have all done well on the show bench, this is not the most important thing to us, it is more important that they are healthy with huge personalities.

If our cats helped the Breed to progress to Championship, by gaining a total of 69 merits and 14 Intermediate Certificates, we have looked on this as being an added bonus.

BECAUSE TO US, OUR CATS ARE SIMPLE THE BEST,

We do tell prospective parents 'To be aware as Tonkaholics are Addictive'.
