An outstanding season last term, The Lions number 1 will be looking to carry on that form into this campaign. His appointment to the position of assistant manager may have raised some eyebrows but Tingley believes the extra responsibilty can only improve his performances.

3. MATTHEW DICK

Defender

Club President and Lions Legend.
Rock solid at the back and is not afraid to take responsibility. Vice-Captain and is vastly experienced. Matthew is looking to brake his goalscoring drought this season as his strike rate is reminisant to that of ex-Arsenal Midfielder, John Jensen.

5. TONY EVANS

Defender

Holds the record for most Lions appearances ever. The 24 year old veteran has established himself as player/manager, and also club captain. Strong defender and organiser of the team is important in maintaining a strong defensive line.

2. JAMES BURROWS

Defender

Sorely missed, educational commitments have ruled Jimmy out over recent months. He is hoping to pull on the famous Red and Yellow jersey this season and will an excellent addition when he finally does make his long awaited comeback.

4. MARK HARROD

Defender

Mark has been ruled out for several months with a very nasty knee injury. Due to go under the surgeons knife shortly. He has a big loss throughout last season as he has been a key player in Lions performances. Clever defender who has everything that makes him a class act.

6. RUSSELL CASTLEDINE

Midfielder

Former Player's Player of the Year missed much of last season due to work commitments. He is hoping to return this season have the kind of impact he did a few seasons ago. Classy schemer with an eye for goal, lays on as many as he scores.
