December 1999 - 'Our Country's Good' by Timberlake WertenbakerJanuary 2000 - Workshop with 'OCG' director Max Stafford-Clark The first Company production following the original play's intention to use actors to play multiple characters. The process of working on the play really established The Company's sense of ensemble, which Stafford-Clark himself praised upon meeting the cast.

November 2001 - 'Sacrifice'A Theatre In Education play linked to Remembrance Week that presented the realities of war over the last 100 years. The combination of ensemble acting, moving music and disturbing projected images make for a thought-provoking piece of theatre that highlights the real lives of soldiers and their families in the face of death. The audience are left with the question of what their lives would be like and that their freedom is due to those who sacrificed their lives - as dead or surviving - to bring them peace.

September 2000 - 'Variare'A double bill production that allowed audiences to experience the contrasting forms of classical and physical theatre. Act 1 = 'Love Will' A compilation of Shakespeare's major plays exploring the many faces of love. Act 2 = 'Corpus Vile' A multimedia physical theatre piece exploring natural mathematical patterns and the conflict between modern science and nature.

February & May 2002 - 'Bully For You!'A Theatre In Education play dealing with the causes and effects of Bullying. Enactments of real scenarios and direct questioning of the audience build to an emotional climax as the tragic consequences of Bullying are read out in the form of suicide lists of children as young as 8 who could not face the daily torment of this cruel treatment. Powerful, yet proactive as the play uses young actors to speak to young audiences in order to invoke change and awareness of this common problem.

July-September 2001 - 'Branded'A fast-paced multimedia play highlighting the issues connected to commercialisation and multinational 'branding'. Humour, music, satirical wit and hard-hitting dramatic action culminate in a piece of theatre that really makes the audience think about their own lives. The play was also performed to Business Studies students at GCSE and A Level as an important extension to their curriculum studies.

July 2002 - 'Afghan Child'Theatre In Education play presenting a personal view of the issues involved in the political situation in Afghanistan. Taking the dramatic account of one girl's life under the restrictive regime before Britain and America's intervention, and the struggle of existing in a refugee camp, the audience is challenged to look at the impact that such news stories have on innocent individuals. Sensitively tackled and touchingly effective, the play questions the audience's perception of this distant country and its people.

July 2002 - 'The Trial' by Steven BerkoffThe varied environment of this challenging play was brought to life by a chorus of 13 young actors, armed with 2 metre frames and a precision of movement that mirrored Greek Theatre. A black and white chess board set was matched by costume and kabuki style masks to produce a visually striking piece of theatre.
