The Bear's Bridge Theatre Company was formed in February 2002 by a group of local people in Hengrove, Bristol.
We are an amateur group dedicated to bringing theatre to the community. Part of our work involves taking our productions to residential homes in the local area, where we have received very warm welcomes and some great reviews.
The group consists of people from all walks of life, no experience is necessary, just dedication and a willingness to take part and become part of a close team.

We welcome new members, whatever your interest is. We are not just looking for Actors/Actresses. There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. We are currently hoping to recruit a Stage Assistant, Lighting Assistant, General Assistant and Sound Manager. We rely on grants to fund our projects, but many of them will not cover certain items that are desperately needed by the group. Because we need to raise some funds ourselves, we are looking to set up a fundraising committee in the new year. The committee will be responsible for organising events that will help us in our plight. If you feel you can help us out, please contact us.
