As seasons go this one has had its ups and downs, but finishing in the middle of March!! Oh well, here is the last Motley Report for season 2004-05, home to promotion hopefuls Broxbourne Rangers. The team was announced:- Straight Legs, Motley, Henry, Matty, John, Ollie, Pete(c), Bazza, Frenchie, Pacey & Gav. Adam, Dayers & Macca took turns with the flag.

The game kicked off and the Accies almost had the perfect start. Within two minutes of the whistle Pacey first forced a smart save from the keeper and then rammed the rebound against the post. The Accies were not fazed by their high-flying opponents and continued to take the game to them in a high tempo fixture. When Pacey was forced off through injury Adam was on and his throw-ins caused all sorts of panic in the oppo box, but the ball would just not go in.

It was against the run of play then, when the away side scored from an outstretched boot at a dipping corner, 0-1.

As the half time whistle blew the Accies knew they were the better team and went out for the second half looking to turn things their way.
