Limited Edition Mr Brightside CD

Details of Australian release of Mr Brightside have been anounced. It is to include a limited edition set of singles with badges. The CD track listing is as follows:

BRANDON ENGAGED!

It has been confirmed by Las Vegas Weekly that Brandon has proposed and been accepted by his girl friend. It is not known as yet when they will get married.



Somebody Told Me, Officially the next single! (Release Date Confirmed)

Somebody Told Me The Killers have finally announced that they will be re-releasing Somebody Told Me on the 10th January 2005. This was rumoured around the time "All These Things I Have Done" was released but now has been made official.

B-Sides have not been confirmed but it is definite that it will probably contain a remix('s)



New Songs To Come

Brandon told NME this week that he and the band have been working on some new material. At least 5 songs are rumoured to being worked on at the moment. A new album is expected as early as next year.



UK Gigs Sold Out With In Minutes

Many fans were gutted when tickets to see the band on November the 12th & 13th sold out within minutes of being put on sale for Manchester and London. No more dates have been added as yet to compensate for this.



Number 19 in the Charts

The single "All These Things I Have Done" entered the charts at 19 on Sunday. Slightly disappointing news after the amazing success of Brightside. But Hot Fuss is still floating around the top 20 which is very good news

All These Things I have Done is scheduled to hit the shops in the UK on August 30th stop and the track listing and art work has already been unveiled. It is as follows:

TV Appearance

The Killers are currently in talk with the American hit Television show "The OC". They have been asked by the directors to make cameo appearance although it is not yet known whether this is acting or performing. They have also been asked to appear another television show "Las Vegas",



Unveiling of the mystery...

The Killers mystery trilogy is starting to be unveiled. "Jenny", "Midnight Show" and "Bourbon on the Shelf" are part of a mystery trilogy which is going to be made into a short film near the end of the year. A limited number of videos will be produced and then given away around Christmas time.



Filming

The filming has been completed for the forth coming single "All These Things I have Done". It was shot in London's Brick Lane as well as clips from the gig they did at London's Astoria on July 8th.
   "We just came up with this idea to make a really happy video," says Brandon "There's so much you can do with a music video, but we thought about it and realised that there aren't that many positive-feeling videos, and the world needs more happy videos. This song is really uplifting and we wanted something that would portray it in that way." You can vote for the video on MTV2 here: NME Chart

"All These Things I Have Done" will be the follow-up single to Mr Brightside in August. It is rumoured that "Somebody Told Me" will also be re-released shortly after.



Lollapalooza Cancelled!

The Killers will not be playing the Lollapalooza tour in the US on the 14th & 15th of July now as due to poor ticket sales the tour has been cancelled.



Hot Fuss Enters at Number 6

Hot Fuss went straight in at number 6 beating off top competition from the likes of Hope of the States new album and dare I say it Avril Lavigne!

Hot Fuss is now available widely in the UK (even in Woolworth's!!)



Brightside Hits Top 10!!

Amazing news to anyone who has supported The Killers in the past few months, they went straight in at number 10 in the charts on 30th May.



The Killers Live on Radio 1

The Killers played a Radio 1 session on the 24th May. They played the acoustic version of Mr. Brightside as well as doing an interview. For more information go to the Radio 1 Website



Reschedules

The Glasgow gig has now been rescheduled and an additional date "July 9th - Sheffield Leadmill" has been added. Check out the gig page for more information

Ronnie told NME in the 8th May Issue that Brandon is Mr Brightside...: Mr Brightside is Brandon Flowers' nick name, his dog died last year and all he did was laugh! - Ronnie



Festivals Confirmed

After confirming Glastonbury earlier this year, The Killers are now confirmed to play T in the Park on Saturday 10 July and Sunday 11 July 2004. Tickets are now fully sold out. They have now also been confirmed to play Lollapalooza, which is just outside Seattle (America), on the 14th and 15th July.

Confirmation has now been given that The Killers will be playing V Festival (Chelm) on the 21st August V Festival (Staff) on the 22nd but NOT any of the Carling Reading and Leeds Festivals



Hot Fuss Released On 7th June

Hot Fuss is now scheduled to hit the shops in the UK on the 7th June. The track listing for the UK version has been released and is as follows:
