Trowbridge based Terry ’s FC began life with a few friends enjoying a game in the local park before taking the next step into organised football.  They had no ambition, other to enjoy themselves, and this simple aim still guides the team.

Formed in 1997, the team comprising naive youngsters, with a few older heads have risen through the divisions. Co-founded, managed and organised by brothers Jamel Messaoud and Dominic Gorton , the first season proved difficult as the young lads struggled to cope, even in the lowly realms of division four.  With new players arriving they finished an encouraging 11th in their first season.  The second season started poorly, but with a settled side they  improved to finish third, gaining promotion.  Terry ’s went one better in  division 3, finishing runners-up to West Lavington and losing narrowly in the Parr Trophy semi-final to premier side Dog & Fox Ashley.   The 2000-01 season was abandoned due to Foot & Mouth and deprived Terry ’s of the title they seemed destined to win.  The following year, starting as favourites, Terry ’s dominated the league losing just twice and drawing twice.  With great team spirit and enthusiasm and no little skill the future looks bright for Terry ’s.
