Subjective response
Organ music is always good for deep bass.
Classical organ is one of my favourite types of music. This is only a small selection of those available from the local library.

Larger organs with 32' pipes can play down to 16Hz!
This is felt more than heard. Particularly as many pipes produce harmonics of the fundamental note.
The SVS is absolutely sublime on organ music. Adding an effortless sense of power, scale, depth and timbre.

Mike Oldfield
It is surprising what really deep bass is hiding away on CDs that you have owned for years! Having 40Hz floorstanders doesn't mean you can hear this hidden bass!

Mike Oldfield's "Millenium Bell" track 4 has a loud 30Hz beat throughout the track. Definitely one to be enjoyed at high levels!

Incubus
For some enjoyable bass Incubus "Morning View" track (13) is well worth a listen. This was a shock the first time my wife discovered it. We had listened to it many times on our Mission 753F speakers.
This track has a lots happening at 30, 45 & 60 Hz. It makes you afraid of what might happen next if you play it loud enough! (100+dBs recommended)

Satriani & Metallica
Heavy metal and rock music are a good source of real bass. Satriani, Metallica & White Stripes are good examples. If you like your 'metal' loud then a really good subwoofer is essential to enjoyment. The impact of those drums should be felt as well as heard!
The SVS doesn't even draw breath producing well over 100dB continuously on this sort of material. The same may not be true of your own stereo amp and speakers!

Try Satriani's "Engines of creation" at high level for some bass fun. Particularly tracks 6, 7 & 8.

Blue Man Group's "Complex" has amazing bass and is an excellent album that just grows & grows on you.

Peter Gabriel's "Long walk home"
An "electronic music" album with some superb bass. It seems you either love or hate this kind of music. I love it. My wife hates it.

The SVS website has a long list of subwoofer killer DVDs and CDs. (Scroll down after you click on this link)
