2. Structure

Either:

Navigate the site by making a selection from the A-Z list in the top menu bar. Having made your selection, a sub-menu will appear in the left column listing entries alphabetically by surname or topic. All items in the left column are hyperlinks. The red arrows at the top of the column will take you up or down the list item by item.

Or:

Select 'CATEGORY INDEXES' in the top menu bar. From here you can view separate lists for 'Actors', 'Actresses', 'Directors', 'Designers', 'Composers', 'Authors', 'Plays (A-Z)', 'Plays (By Year)', 'Theatres', 'Artistic Direction', 'Associate Artists', 'Other'. All items in the lists are hyperlinks.

3. The Entries

Note: There are no hyperlinks in the body of the entries.

Actors and actresses:
An overview is given in the right column, including their RSC work divided by seasons, e.g. '1986 (Strat.)-87 (Lond.)'. Complete details of RSC roles and plays are given in the biographical essays, along with an overview (often near-complete) of non-RSC theatre work and film and TV appearances. If an actor worked at Stratford before 1960, complete details are given. (Note: actors who worked at Stratford before 1960 but who have not returned since, are not included.)

Directors:
All RSC productions are listed in the right column. The work is discussed in the biographical essay.
