Trystan
Gravelle Trystan Gravelle acted with the National Youth Theatre of Wales before training for the stage at RADA. On graduating he joined the RSC. Recognised as a leading actor rapidly in the making, he played Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet (Peter Gill, RST, 2004, Albery, 2004-05); Fortinbras in Hamlet (Michael Boyd, RST, 2004, Albery, 2004); Malcolm in Macbeth (Michel St Denis Studio, TOP, 2004); Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Gregory Doran, RST, 2005, Novello, 2006); Jaques de Boys/William in As You Like It (Dominic Cooke, RST, 2005, Novello, 2006); Young Shepherd/Archidamus in The Winter's Tale (Cooke, Swan, 2006); and Fisherman/Sailor in Pericles (Cooke, Swan, 2006). He next played Stanley in Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party (Phillip Breen, Clwyd Theatr Cymru, 2006); Barry in Philip Ridley's Leaves of Glass (Lisa Goldman, Soho Theatre, 2007); and Berowne in Love's Labour's Lost (Dominic Dromgoole, Globe, 2007). |
