All Over

Play by Edward Albee (1971). Peter Hall directed the British premiere of All Over at the Aldwych in 1972; it was his final RSC production before leaving the Company to run the National. A famous man lies dying in a New England mansion while his wife, daughter, best friend and mistress engage in a painful round of recriminations. Hall assembled a fine ensemble led by Peggy Ashcroft.
