Stanhope House Day Nursery - Our Parents' Views

I was looking for a nursery place for my son and what attracted me was the feel of the place. I'd visited several other nurseries but Stanhope just felt right. And it still feels right, that's why Ana now attends. Jack loves visiting Stanhope when we pick up Ana and he treats it as his home from home.

I really do miss the wonderful food and tossing my own pancake. I also miss not-any-work-all-day and I thought the rooms were well organised and suitable. I just do wish that we did cooking at school.

Our daughter attended Stanhope House Day Nursery full-time from the age of 3 months until she started school and our son, who is 5 months old, is about to start at Stanhope. We have nothing but praise for the nursery and the staff. We felt that everyone there knew and understood our daughter, making the nursery experience an entirely positive one, as close to an extension of the home and family as it is possible to be. Whenever we needed advice as new parents the staff were full of helpful suggestions and they were also willing to take into account our own preferences and ideas. The friends that our daughter made there have remained firm friends who all speak fondly of the nursery and the staff and love to go back for visits. It is so difficult to leave your child with anyone when returning to work but everyone at Stanhope completely understands this and helps to make the transition as smooth and easy as it could ever be. Thank you to all the staff and especially Philippa who keeps the nursery running like clockwork!

Stanhope Nursery has been great for both our children. It provides a caring and educationally stimulating environment which our children love. We trust the staff implicitly.

The staff are really kind You can do all sorts of activities The food is really delicious You can have your hair cut by a special hairdresser Philippa the boss is fantastic The garden is massive it has a little house and a slide You can organize a bouncy castle and birthday cake and games on your birthday. At Christmas Father Christmas comes You will make really good friends.

I like the food and I like the rocking motorbike and I make new friends I like my nursery nurse and I like cutting and sticking and I like cooking and making things like pizzas. From maddy.
