Stanhope House Day Nursery caters for 36 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.

Our children come from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, sometimes with English as a second language.
 
   
When a new child starts, parents are welcome to stay with them as long as they feel necessary to help their child settle in. This usually provides the basis for effective communication between staff and parents and we welcome warmly any input they care to offer.

Our curriculum is designed to be fun, challenging and rewarding, and is in line with OFSTED guidelines.

Throughout our site we have used our children's artwork to illustrate each page and for the navigation images at the foot of each page, and below you'll find more examples of our children's activities that tie in with OFSTED's six learning objectives.
