A MESSAGE TO USERS OF THIS SITE
Stamps are an ideal starting point for learning about almost any subject. They
show every possible facet of our world, and provide a unique way to present the world in
an easy to understand and excitingly different way.
The eventual aim of this site is to provide about fifty different subjects, giving a wide
range of topics with something to catch the imagination of all young people no
matter what their age and interests. We aim to encourage the use of the internet as a learning
tool to find out about the world around us. All subjects have been carefully researched to make
them as factual as possible. However, we cannot promise that other sites to which links are
provided will be completely accurate, though we have tried to use only reputable sites.
Other subjects planned and in course of research and preparation are:
Sport; Animals; The Cinema and Film Stars; Music; Ancient Civilisations; Global Warming;
Transport; The Bronte Sisters; Charles Dickens; Flora and Fauna; Robert Burns; Famous
Buildings; and the World Beneath the Sea.
Some of these subjects may be subdivided. For example music may be divided into
classical and modern, sport may be divided into football, rugby, swimming, athletics etc.
This is an evolving site and we cannot say for certain how it will look in the future.
But you can have your say. Email the
Webmaster with your ideas for other subjects, or your comments on those so far
available. If you have ideas for new subjects they will be included if possible, and if you
have suggestions for adding to, or improving, existing subjects these are always welcomed.
