SPOOKS SERIES 2

A British drama based on the work of MI5. Under the leadership of Harry; Tom, Zoe, Danny, Sam, Ruth, Colin and Malcolm work on a different case every week!

It is shown on Monday nights at 9pm and there are ten episodes in the series.

Last week was episode 10, the last in the series.
After Tom's CIA girlfriend Christine Dale showed him information on an operation the CIA were running in Britain related to a hit man, Tom began an investigation without informing Harry. Danny and Zoe assisted Tom but after discovering a false legend with his picture and seeing him leave with the enemy they began to doubt which side Tom was really on and informed Harry.

Tom called in to tell them there would be an assasination attempt and the name of the man who was setting him up. However the assassination attempt had already taken place and the man Tom claimed was setting him up was dead.

Zoe, Danny and Harry arrived and when Harry prepared to signal for Special Forces back-up, Tom shot him and fled towards the sea, he swam out and disappeared!

Spooks viewers are left with so many questions from the dramatic end of series cliffhanger, most of all:

Will Tom and Harry survive?

And how will Tom get out of shooting Harry?

Jack is trapped in the car but convinces Sherry to help him out and they go on to their meeting with Kingsley.
Palmer’s attorney shows Mike there is evidence that connects Kingsley with the seventh Coral Snake and Mike calls CTU and asks a confused Chapelle to assist Jack in his investigations into the Cyrus audio.
Max speaks to Kingsley about the importance of getting rid of Hewitt who could ruin their plans and Kingsley promises he will.
Chapelle agrees to drop the charges against Tony and Michelle if they will help contact Jack. Then Kate and Kim arrive at CTU and are greeted by Carrie who is very surprised when Tony comes to take over. Kate his told her father is speaking to Marie and enters the room where Marie is giving her father no answers on why she was involved in the plot. As Bob and Kate leave, Marie calls Kate back and tells her she won’t be safe.
Tony gives Jack the news that Kim is safe and Chapelle tells Jack he now has full support. Jack can’t wait for back-up as Kingsley is expecting them but asks for a live audio feed to the President.
Mike warns Prescott that Jack may get evidence on the live audio proving the Cyprus recording was false. Mike then organises live audio feed for Palmer too and Palmer is shocked to discover Sherry’s involvement.
Sherry arrives at the meeting place and doesn’t notice a sniper taking aim at her from a tower. Kingsley arrives and Sherry eventually gets him to admit that Hewitt created the Cyprus audio. However Kingsley begins to doubt Sherry has Hewitt and orders the sniper to shoot her. The sniper is no longer there and Jack appears in his place. Sherry runs while Jack trades gunfire with Kingsley’s men, killing all but one. He then runs with Sherry until the remaining one of Kingsley’s men appears. As Sherry runs on Jack fights with him and loses his weapon. Eventually after killing the man, Jack stumbles out into daylight only to see Kingsley. He reaches for a gun and fires but it is empty. Kingsley aims his gun at Jack but luckily the SWAT team arrive and shoot Kingsley.
Since Kingsley has been killed Max calls an unknown person and orders them to do something.
Prescott aborts the military action and Palmer is reinstated. Prescott and all members of the cabinet who voted against him offer their resignation but Palmer refuses. However he then thanks Mike for calling CTU but says Mike should have stood by him and he relieves Mike of his post.
Tony gets his job (and chair) back from Chapelle and thanks Michelle for making the right decisions. Kim and Kate arrive to see Jack on a stretcher and he and Kim have an emotional reunion after the day’s events.
