Vinolia Arylis PAN Compact This super compact features Pan - or Sylvan Deity embossed on the lid. It reminds me of a Jester. Made by Vinolia Compacts and called the Arylis. It is silver plated. It comes complete with its original powder block & puff. The mirror is intact and in excellent condition. It has the registration number on the back of 732540 which dates it to the 1920s. This is a rare to find compact. The overall condition is excellent, with only a little of the base metal showing through on his nose, which I think enhances his appearance.

Zippered petit point compact This compact was probably made in gemany. The stitching is on silk, and is very fine quality. There is wear on the back of the compact where it hinges, due to the fragility of vintage textiles this is to be expected. Date: Circa 1950s

WWI embroidered Sweetheart Compact This “sweetheart” compact is in fantastic condition. It was probably made by the same French folk that were famous for the embroidered silk postcards made in WWI for the troops to send home to their loved ones hence the term “sweetheart”
The embroidery in very fine and features the Kings Crown and two Union Jacks. It has a press stuff fastener on the back. The case is lined board with a brass rim around the front – It has never been used. Sifter/Puff: Original sifter & Puff
