Welcome to the Web Site of the City of Salisbury Athletic and Running Club: an all-round Athletic club based in Salisbury, Wiltshire (or, as the Guardian of Saturday August 18th 2007 called it, "Sailsbury, Whitlshire").

Half of 2008 Gone Already ...
... but more than half the Track League fixtures are already through. The Men's team have one match left: at Andover (August 2nd); the Women's team still have a double fixture at Abingdon (July 26th), and the National Young Athletes League team compete on July 20th at ... Salisbury yet again (the new Winchester track is not yet ready to stage fixtures).
Hants RR League: The Title Clinched! .....
The Hants Road Race League is over for this season: your Webmaster was worried that his calculations about the Division two championship might be wrong, but they weren't, and CofS are confirmed as champions in both Men's and Women's divisions. So it's promotion... and the chance to take on the all-conquering Winchester teams in 2008-9. But where? Actually the dates are out already: see the Road Race Fixtures page.
Summer Pub Runs
The next Summer Pub Run will be on Friday 18th July, from the Bridge Inn at Upper Woodford. Usual arrangements: 6.45pm., and a 6-mile or 3-mile choice (or a straight-to-the-bar option).

The London Marathon 1908
