We were landing in Kinlochbervie as was our normal after easter.we landed our fish then piled into the van as this trip there was only four men on board. We had been fishing 7 days working 22 hours a day.when I arrived home early evening.I recieved a call from the fishmarket saying the fishery officers were measuring our haddocks and found hake under them.I told them not to worry as the hake was in the logbook under others. The next trip the fishery officers came on board and cautioned me.I felt intimidated with there forcefull attidude and told the I had enough,If this went to court I will sell the boat, its the last straw.Well it went to court and I went as well as i was pleading not guilty. There was other fishing cases before me and when you seen the procurator fiscal laughing about the skippers excuses for being caught and telling his verson of the cases.I went up to my lawyer and told her I wanted to change my plea just to get it over with.I was finished.Just after that I sold my boat to Ebbie Sheenan.

This website is to thank everbody who sailed with me on the rymaralee.I was always fortunate to have a good crew, who worked hard and had to put with me ,my strage ways, and drool humour.I Think we had a lot of good times which I often tell to people who don't know if to believe them or not!The stories here might be a stranger to the truth, everbody Knows I have a vivid imagination.Extra thank's to Tambo for giving me a voucher To me and Phyllis for a meal in the Mansfield when I came home from Ireland, for being aboard with me,He retired the xmas before and now looks after the Lossie Town Hall. It was a needy pickup Also Thanks to Bertie and Jake for Going to Ireland with me. A Special thanks to George Innes,(G I,)for teaching me the seinenet,The best job ever. ......................... I still have'nt got over it yet and upset Phyllis when I want to crash into every red or blue Astra estate that I see on the road.
