Skippers & Boats

i mostly worked with the Ajax,and the Acorn.Skippers Both called Andrew Cambell.(Uncle & Nephew). sometimes known as Homer& Bart after the Simpsons.Uncle was an old hand who knew every trick in the book and could leave me and nephew wondering what he was up to all the time.One day me & nefnew were 50 mls away from him and thought out of phone range.The two of us were calling him all the liers & worse the whole day.He left us until we ran out of bad things to say about him then called us and told us he was listening to us all day and we were a pair of sh##ts.both of us were catched out good. ......................... We were all together once on the Outer shoal getting good fishing.When Mike park was beside him and reported a poor haul.Unc.s answer was Iv'e been too long at the job for the like's of you to tell me crap .It was the only time Mike's been lost for words. .............................. I used to work beside danish Anchor men a lot.They were very good fishermen.When you seen an anchor boat ther was fish about.They did not work in bad weather like ourselves so one day it was a force 8 and the fish was lying under the anchorman's boat who was not working,I was towing too close to him when my ropes ran up his anchor and over his bow.I kept on hauling until my net was running over his deck,untill me codend with 20 boxes of fish jumped onto his deck and dropped down into his cabin where they were sleeping.I stopped my boat wondering what to do when the danes came on deck,lifted the codend up and over the side.They were raving mad and calling me all the mad scotsman.It must have been a big shock waking up and seeing the exit to their cabin jammed with fish.!!!
