Myself

my name is Billy Fraser,born in march 1953 at 26 Sunbank place.lossiemouth.moray.to william & Margaret(nee Mitchell) fraser,and brother to 3 sisters,Margaret,Joan also Christine.It wans't long before our neighbors were saying My father was a terrier,(territoral army)we had a terrier dog and that I was a terror.I went to St Geredines School untill I left in 1968.I left school with the intention to be a mechanic but had to wait for a year to be old enough to start an apprentership,so i decided to go fishing until my 16th birthday.My first boat was the Brittania which was unfortunate to go aground on my first week.that started me to be called a Jonah like my Grandfather whome my mother said he lost 4 boats in the Maggie Duncan's hole At lossie harbor's entrance. It did not put me off and I sailed on the Arcadia,Marandra,(lossie boats),Bon-Ami,& Alkaid.(from hopeman),until I married Phyllis Cowie,went to stay in Buckie then was on board Hopecrest until I went for my mates ticket on jan.1977.I then was on the Conquest.(where Bill flett named me bionic bill,that Buckie folk still call me.)After that Courages(old Conquest),Tyleana,Rosebloom,(plenty stories here for another website).Loraley Back on new Conquest,Horizon,Victory.and last Rymaralee.
