This photograph was taken on the 25th June 2004. As you can see, the entire cinema frontage and canopy have been removed as part of the Theatre Royal's renovation process.

Where the canopy has been removed, previously hidden panes of the windows have been revealed. In the central window, the newly exposed panes display a small, old poster. Visit the 'Past' section of the site to take a look.
