Even though the curtains are closed, you can still see a cheeky glimpse of the screen from this angle.

On the stage we would sometimes find items that had been thrown at the screen. Coffee Revels seemed to be the favoured projectile. Also, attention seeking children would occasionally climb onto the stage for the amusement of themselves and their friends.

I'm not sure what all the little dots on this photograph are. They're probably just ghosts having a laugh.

Fire Exit. Just to the left of the photo is the fire exit which leads downstairs and out onto Monmouth street at the side of the cinema.
