The power bench seen here, is where all the films were made up and broken down. When a film arrives at the cinema, it usually comes on six seperate reels that have to be spliced together along with the advertisements and trailers.

The shelves on the right of the bench housed spare bits of film and movie trailers. The trailers had colour coded bands around them which related to the different film certificates.

Desk. Directly opposite the power bench is the projectionists desk.

Ladder. Make your way up the ladder that you can see on the right. This leads to the projection room for screen 1, the popcorn loft and you can also get a better view of the projector in projection room 2.

Corridor. Directly behind you is the corridor which leads back to the office and the kitchen.
