Martin Carthy
Probably the most famous of British folk singers and not without reason.
Masterly on the guitar and vocals, Martin was awarded the MBE for services to Folk Music a few years ago. He appears with, Waterson:Carthy. Wood Wilson & Carthy, Brass Monkey & is a former member of Steeleye Span. Martin sings mainly from the English Tradition. He still sings wonderful ballads telling stories of long ago, but also some more modern songs and an occasional humorous offering.

John Kirkpatrick
John's done it all from currently being a member of Brass Monkey, in the past Steeleye Span, Albion Country Band. He plays Anglo Concertina, Button Accordion and single row melodeon and sings as well as anybody has a right to. Expect Traditional, selfpenned humorous and 1930's material. A great entertainer and one of the finest Traditional performers.

His songs have been covered by Jasper Carrot & Little & Large among many. He is an experienced TV & Radio presenter & paid large sums as an after dinner speaker. Come along & have a good laugh.
