In order to allow Des to concentrate on his showing season, he will not stand at stud during 2003.

25.4.03 We are pleased to announce the birth of a filly foal by Flydon Caradog x Morningwood Serenade.

29/8/03 Des' show season has had to be severely curtailed due to Ceri's health problems. She is recovering well from neuro-surgery, but still requires a further operation in the next couple of months. Thanks to all those who have sent such kind and supportive messages.

23/10/03 Due to uncertainty regarding the immediate future of the stud due to Ceri's continuing problems, both R. Polgara and R. Madonna may be available for loan in the spring.

30/11/03 Sadly Radmont Polka Dot has passed away.
Her daughter R. Polgara remains in the stud to continue her line.

The year started with some good news for Ceri, in that no further surgery is required. It is hoped that we will be back on the show circuit this season with Sunny in M&M first ridden classes with Beccy, and, hopefully in-hand with a mare & foal, and one of the youngsters.
Thanks again for all the messages of support, and grateful thanks to Mr Richard Irving and the Dept of Neurosciences, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.

17/4/04 Rheidol Sorceress has produced a filly foal by Dukeshill Magnum.

17/5/04 Dukeshill Paprika has produced a black colt foal by Dukeshill Desert Wind.

17/10/04 As the Equine Clinic will be moving from Locko in early 2005 we have many ponies either for sale or lease.
DUKESHILL DESERT WIND is available for lease for either stud or ridden showing for 2005
RHEIDOL MADONNA and RHEIDOL POLGARA are both now broken and being ridden away. Both are for sale.
DUKESHILL PAPRIKA is out on loan.
RHEIDOL PENDRAGON - colt foal - is for sale.
RHEIDOL SORCERESS has been leased out for 2 years to the Tangleberry Stud.

22/11/04 RHEIDOL POLGARA has been sold as a lead rein pony, and Des has been leased to the Tygolau Stud in South Wales for 2005.

20/11/04 RHEIDOL PENDRAGON has been sold. We wish his new owners every success.

1/5/05 After missing the last two showing seasons due to Ceri's illness, we were delighted to be 3rd at Leicestershire County Show with Rheidol Sabrina.

15.5.05 Rheidol Sabrina was 2nd at Newark & Notts Show. Rheidol Sorceress has returned to the stud, and is to be covered by Waxwing Victory. Her dam Morningwood Serenade is visiting Dyfed Popcorn.

1/6/05 Rheidol Sabrina was 6th and Rheidol Shannara placed 5th at Staffordshire County Show.

23/6/05 Rheidol Sabrina was 3rd at Lincolnshire County Show.

26/6/05 Dukeshill Paprika contested her first ever affiliated M&M WHP class at Derbyshire County Show and was placed 2nd in the Nursery Stakes - not bad at the age of 16! Well done Katie and Pip.

2/7/05 Rheidol Shannara was placed 2nd at the NCPA Staffs branch show at Walsall.

17/7/05 Rheidol Shannara had a walkover in her class, but we were thrilled when she took Res Champion at Ashby Show.
Rheidol Castella continued our good day being placed 4th in his first Private Driving class.

14/7/05 Rheidol Shannara continued her successful season with 3rd place at the Midland WP&C Ass'n show at Solihull. Her half-sister Rheidol Sorceress made her debut in the show ring and we were thrilled when she was placed 5th in a strong class of barren mares.

20/8/05 We had a super day at Ashbourne Show today. R. Sorceress took Res Champ after coming 2nd in the mare class. We also won a first with her daughter R. Sabrina and 3rd with R. Shannara.
Kim came out of retirement to show Sorceress in the championship!

28/8/05 R. Sabrina was 2nd and R.Shannara 3rd at Moorgreen Show.

1/9/05 Des has returned from his 'holiday' at the Tygolau stud in S. Wales and will resume his stud duties in Derbyshire next year.

11/9/05 R. Sabrina was 2nd (again!) and R. Shannara 4th at the NCPA Derbyshire branch autumn show.

15/9/05 R. Madonna is with Pam Brown to be broken to drive. It is hoped that she will be paired with R. Castella to compete in Driving Trials next year.

29/10/05 R. Sorceress has been tested in foal to Waxwing Victory, due 1 May 2006. Unfortunately Morningwood Serenade is not in foal. Sunnyhill Cloe has returned to the stud and will be covered by Des next season.

3/4/06 Great news from Tygolau stud - Waitwith Cloe has foaled a black filly foal by Des.
We plan to cover 4 mares this year - R. Sorceress will visit Flydon Caradog, while Serenade, Shannara and Sunny will be covered by Des.

8/4/06 Rheidol Sorceress caught us out by foaling 3 weeks early! Rheidol Sylvana is a light chestnut/palomino filly by Waxwing Victory - photos will be added soon.

15/4/06 At last, all the Rheidol ponies are now in the same place,living at the Jamieson Equine Veterinary Clinic at Duffield. Grateful thanks to Chris for letting me realise my dream!

19/8/06 R. Sorceress made her showring debut as a brood mare and won her class at Ashbourne Show. Her foal came second. Thanks to Steve & Kerry for showing them so well.

25/8/06 We've had a lovely email from Wendy O'Neill in Aberdeen, telling us that she has recently purchased Rheidol Charlie Boy. It is so nice to hear news of him after such a long time.

19/10/06 We've had news of Rheidol Pandora, who we sold as a foal in 1995, and then lost track of. She now has new owners in Newcastle upon Tyne.
We wish them every success.
Also, Rheidol Madonna has been sold to Pam Brown and will be competing in Driving Trials next year alongside Rheidol Castella. Best of luck, Pam.

30/10/06 Both Morningwood Serenade and her daughter Rheidol Sorceress have been tested in foal for 2007.

Sunnyhill Cloe has been loaned out. Rheidol Shannara will be joining the brood mare band this season, covered by Dukeshill Desert Wind.

23/4/07 Rheidol Madonna completed her first Driving Trial, finishing 3rd at Thoresby. Well done Pam and Harvey.
Pam will be busy this summer, as Rheidol Sabrina will be visiting her to be broken in.

8/5/07 Morningwood Serenade has foaled a black colt by Dukeshill Desert Wind - Rheidol Sharki.

20/5/07 Rheidol Castella won the pre-novice section at Tutbury horse driving trials. Well done Pam, Harvey & Midge.

22/5/07 Rheidol Sorceress has produced a filly foal by Flydon Lwcus to be named Rheidol Shakira.

12/8/07 Rheidol Madonna was placed 3rd at Knowle Hill driving trials.
Rheidol Sabrina has gone to be broken in - she is available for lease for ridden showing next year. Please email if you are interested in her.

20/8/07 In order to control numbers, we have decided to sell R. Sylvana and R. Sharki.
Sylvana (Lizzie) has a wonderful temperament and will make a super pony for a very lucky child.
Sharki has all his dad's character, and we hope he will make a super performance pony like Des.

Sabrina has now been backed, and will be brought on gently. We are looking to lease her to a showing home to pursue a ridden career, prior to returning to us as a brood mare.

29/8/07 News of R.Polgara, who we sold in 2004. She is now in Nottinghamshire, and performing very well in M&M lead rein classes with her 4 year old jockey. She took reserve champ at this year's Derby County Show.
Also at Derby was Polgara's half sister R. Primadonna who is also competing in M&M lead rein. We had lost track of both of these fillies, so it is lovely to find them both living locally again.

7/11/07 Both Morningwood Serenade and Rheidol Shannara have been tested in foal to Des. Due late April/early May 2008.
Rheidol Sabrina has been broken in and is going nicely. We are considering having her produced under saddle next season, but would still like to hear from any showing homes interested in leasing her.

1/3/08 R.Sabrina has gone to April Abbott-Hall to be produced under saddle.

21/4/08 R.Shannara has produced a filly foal by Des.

11/5/08 Morningwood Serenade has had a smart colt foal by Des.
