Ramblers join walks entirely at their own risk.
-
Where a public house is used, walkers should not consume their own food or drink on the premises, unless the landlord has given express permission.
-
Where cars are necessary to get to the start of a walk, car drivers with spaces available - and those requiring transport - should contact the walk leader. Any passenger would normally be expected to offer the driver some contribution towards the cost of the journey.
-
Dogs must be kept under control. They must be on a lead across farmland and whenever requested by the walk leader.
-
In really bad weather (e.g. ice, snow, fog, torrential rain etc.), you should contact the leader to see if the walk is taking place.
-
Please check the train times if you plan to use the train to join a walk ( 08457 484950 ).
-
'Picnic' in the details of a walk means that a pub may not be available.
-
'Pub' means that there may not be a suitable place to eat your own food.
'Pub or picnic' means that you have a choice.
