Preston Guild Collectables

About this Site

My Grandparents were born in Preston, and my Mum was evacuated there in the Second World War. She therefore has a long standing affinity with the town.
My Grandparents John (Jack) and Anne Wilkinson nee Ogden She met my step-father, who has a long standing interest in antiques, china and collectables and it was almost inevitable that this combination of interests would lead them to start a collection of Preston Guild memorabilia.
They have found pieces in antique shops, flea markets and car boot sales all over the country over a fifteen year period.

Over recent years, pieces have been more difficult to find, which is presumably because there are an increasing number of collectors.
We thought there may be people interested in seeing examples of an important part of Preston's history, especially in the lead up to the 2012 Guild.

We would be very happy to add to this site any other pieces of Guild memorabilia. Just send me a photograph of the pieces you have and anything you would like to say about them.
Alternatively, if you have a website let me know and I will add a link
