These photos show some of the people that I have met and become friends with during my stays in Poland, the best person of all being my lovely wife Ilona. I have been to their weddings, I go to their birthday celebrations, or just for Sunday lunch, but they are all very generous and welcoming. They have made me feel welcome and invited me into their homes without question. I know that I have made many permanent friendships. An example of the hospitality shown to me was when I attended the wedding of Ilona's best friend Basia. By the end of the two day celebration, I had numerous cousins and one brother-in-law!!! That is how friendly they are! I have been able to return the hospitality shown to me to some of them already, but I hope that one day, I will have had the opportunity to invite them all to stay with me for a holiday in England.
