Do You Know Who You Are?

For how long
Can you bang your head
Against a brick wall;
Before you get a headache?
And as Robert Graves once said:
"Love is a universal migraine"
And you,
My Love;
Are my universal migraine.
The "Symptoms Of Love"
Show themselves all too clearly
Whenever I think of you.
But however much I try to deny it,
There has been,
One bang too many
Against this brick wall;
Of immoveable force.

Hours Of Ours

I want an hour
To be ours.
Then I want hours
To be ours.
I want hours
Of us.
I want hours
Of our laughter.
I want hours
Of our bodies,
Entwining.
I want hours
Of our lips,
Parting.
I want an hour
To be ours.

Dark Thoughts.

I want to sit here,
In the dark;
And think of you.
My world is silent;
Except for the April rain,
That patters against my window pain.
And my mind is silent;
Except for thoughts of you.
I want to sit here,
In the dark;
And think of you.
And in my thoughts,
Make love to you.
And in my mind,
Let it be true.
I want to sit here,
In the dark;
Because I'm not with you.
I want to sit here,
In the dark;
And think of you.
And think of you.
And think of you.
