Welcome to my poetry website.
On the following pages you will find a selection of my work, both published and unpublished. They are devided into subjects to give an idea of the range of topics my writing covers-no, not all poetry is about love; but it's a good place to start. But before you take a look at that, I thought I'd tell you a little about myself.
I was born in York in 1976, and still live there today. Even though I'm a Yorkshire lass through & through, there is Scottish, Italian, Australian, Irish & Spanish blood all coursing away through my vains.
I started writing poetry as a teenager, and had my first poem published when I was 18. Since then I have had poems published in 50 separate anthologies, in both Britain & the USA. I have also had 5 short stories published.
In September 2003 I was named as one of Forward Press' Top 100 poets for the year.
Except for poetry my other passions are; cats, theatre, music, photography & shopping!
