We have now reached (give or take a mile or two) the half way point on our long walk - Land's End to John o' Groats, and our stay with you has boosted our spirits. Vi and Trevor Cardiff, South Wales. 1st May 2002 PS They reached John o' Groats on 11 June and took 80 days and 30 mins end to end. Congratulations!

Many thanks for a very enjoyable night's stay...This is my sixth visit to Marsden this Autumn and Winter. I am looking forward to doing the Pennine Way section over Millstone Edge and returning by the Packhorse Way. As a couple - walking the Alternative Pennine Way - we, until yesterday, were quite unaware of the nature and charm of Marsden and the locality.
