We charge £25.00 per person per night for Bed and Breakfast, including bed linen and towels, and offer a 10% discount for walkers, cyclists and students on longer stays. Children (11 and under) are welcome at 50% of the accompanying adult rate and under-18's pay £20.00. Breakfast at Pear Tree Cottage gets your day off to a good start. We serve it normally between 7.30 and 9 am, but can be flexible according to your needs. Typically we offer: * Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice; * Choice of Cereals; * Full Cooked English Breakfast OR Continental Breakfast with croissants and a selection of cooked meats, cheeses and fruit; * Preserves and Toast; * Freshly Ground Coffee or Selection of Teas (including Indian, Peppermint, Earl Grey & Jasmine).A three course table d'hote evening meal may be ordered in advance when there are no alternatives available at the cafes, pubs and restaurants in the village. (See "Info for Visitors" page). Special diets are catered for. Just tell us your needs.

Packed lunches can be provided at a cost of £3.50 for walkers and cyclists setting off for the day. There is a good selection of restaurants, cafes, inns and take-away establishments in and around the village for lunch and evening meals. Most tastes are catered for, including traditional Yorkshire pub fare, wholefood meals, fish and chips, Cordon Bleu cuisine and Indian, Chinese, Turkish, Thai and Italian food.
