Welcome to Pear Tree Cottage!

We have been welcoming guests to Pear Tree Cottage (also known as "Marsden Home Hostel") since April, 1998.

We offer visitors to Marsden a warm welcome and the tasteful comforts of our non-smoking family home, together with good wholesome food, cleanliness and lots of facilities to help make the most of a stay in Pennine Yorkshire.

We have two guest bedrooms - one with a double-bed and a Z-bed and one with a single bunk-bed and double bed-settee.

Whether you are walking the Pennine Way (or the Alternative Pennine Way!), cycling "Route 66", visiting friends and relatives in the area, touring the north of England or would just like somewhere quiet to stay, yet still be less than 45 minutes by train to Manchester or Leeds, you'll be welcome at Pear Tree Cottage.

Click on the side bar, take a look around our friendly village and the accommodation we offer, and then check out our tariff for 2006!

We hope that you will like what you see and that we shall have the opportunity to welcome you here soon.
