coastline is constantly changing due to coastal erosion.
This photograph showing the lower part of Roman Road at the
junction with Chapel Lane. Roman Road was the original entrance road
to the village, but is now used solely for access, walkers and as a
bridleway.
Chapel Lane. The Old Chapel building is seen here on
the right with a Velux window. It is now a private residence.

Village Street. The house on the right with yellow
woodwork is Jasmine cottage home of the village shop in 1901 to 1948.
The Post Office at Osmington was based at Letterbox cottage
until the retirement of Mr. & Mrs. Jenkins in 1997.
The NEW village hall. Constructed in 2001 it was the
product of many years fundraising by villagers and is a very valuable
resource.
