The Ordsall Consort

Aims

The aims of the Consort are educational and are directed towards both adults and children. It seeks to increase familiarity with, appreciation of and, indeed, participation in the European chamber music of the Mediaeval, Renaissance and early Baroque periods.

For adults it tries to engage their interest by providing ambient music in houses of the period during visits by the public.

For children it provides participatory workshops.
