Picture of OlnadaleWelcome to Olnadale

Olnadale is a modern house set in a peaceful location on the upper fringe of Stromness. It is approximately 15 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. There are spectacular views overlooking Hoy Sound, the Hoy Hills and the western approaches to Scapa Flow. The house has full central heating throughout, with colour television in all bedrooms. In addition tea and coffee making facilities are provided. There is ample car parking for guests and in the event of inclement weather a drying room is available.

The local amenities are all within walking distance. In Stromness you will find plenty to see and do. Sample the locally brewed Orkney ale in many of the public houses; visit the museum or the Pier Arts Centre. A short journey by car takes you to some of the amazing archaeology for which Orkney is known throughout the world – Maes Howe an ancient burial mound, the Ring of Brodgar a ring of standing stones and a bit further on the famous Neolithic village of Skara Brae.
