Although generally not on the scale of some of the sites explored in the US there is a wealth of untapped resources in this country.
I guarantee that within a square mile of where you live there will be something amazing just waiting to be discovered. Be it an abandoned warehouse, tunnel or drain.

THE OFFKILTER GROUP

A small group of likeminded people in the South of England who enjoy walks in the country, industrial architecture, cold war history and adrenalin.

Our aims are to see things that most people don't get to and look good doing it.

THIS SITE IS AIMED MORE AT FOSTERING LINKS BETWEEN THE DISPARATE GROUPS IN THE UK THAN SHEER SELF PUBLICITY. I WILL POST THE STUFF I GET UP TO BUT MAINLY I JUST WANNA GET MORE PEOPLE TO GO WITH US AND ENCOURAGE OTHER U.E'RS TO SHARE INFO WITH EACH OTHER.

WHAT WE ARE AGAINST

No unneccesary vandalism, no stealing of valuables and or personal materials, no graphiti unless its a strategically placed business card.

My opinion is that you shouldn't break any thing unless it is to gain entry and if it involves major damage, then, why bother.
Trespassing is a civil offence, it becomes aggrivated trespass when you break in - Why add theft to that list. If a site is long since derelict then from a moral standpoint it may be fair to take a memento if it clearly is abandoned. Stealing machinery or building materials is obviously wrong- Don't be a twat.
Graphitti, we are doing this specifically to try an see beautiful architecture in as original a state as possible don't selfishly damage it for other people.

Get in, have fun, take a pic or two, get out safely with out hurting a soul.

I'm trying to build an operating UE group in the London area to go on Missions with but even if you aren't based in or around London still drop me a line.
My hope is to get several active cells working around the country and they can either be offshoots of our group or other independent groups of U.E'ers.
We can then do tours of our fave sites for guests from around the county. The idea being to build a friendly U.E community.

My goals for the future are to produce an infrequent news letter either on the net or hardcopy.
