I am a Chartered Waste Manager with over 6 years UK and overseas experience in environmental management and planning, a BA in Geography and an MSc in Rural and Regional Resources Planning.I have a keen interest in overseas development and humanitarian issues and am currently employed by an environmental advocacy NGO in Swaziland. I am adaptable and feel comfortable working and communicating with people from different backgrounds.
My other professional interests include sustainable development, environmental management, rural development and recycling.
I have strong project management skills including interdisciplinary team working, monitoring and evaluation, managing sub-contractors, and liaison with project partners and beneficiaries. I am fully competent in writing technical reports, giving presentations, delivering training and facilitating meetings.
I have experience in preparing funding proposals (including logical frameworks), maintaining accounts and reporting to project donors. In my previous role I managed a budget of over ₤100,000 per annum and raised over ₤500,000 project funding from a variety of donors.
