MILDENHALL WITH FOUR KEY PLAYERS MISSING PRODUCED A FINE DISPLAY IN A MATCH THEY SHOULD OF WON. ABBEYGATE TOOK THE LEAD IN AN EXCITING FIRST HALF,WITH JOE STROUD MAKING IT 1-1 WITH A SUPERB FREE KICK. ABBEYGATE REGAINED THE LEAD BY BEATING UTDS STAND IN GOALKEEPER JORDAN SCALES FROM A SCRAMBLE IN THE BOX. NATHAN KROGH SOON EQUALISED FOR A 2-2 HALF TIME SCORE. IN THE SECOND HALF MILDENHALL STEPPED UP A GEAR AND MADE NUMEROUS CHANCES BUT SOME FINE GOALKEEPING KEPT THE SCORES LEVEL. STUART ALLEN MADE IT 3-2 BUT WITH TWO MINUTES TO FULL TIME ABBEYGATE MADE IT 3-3 AFTER A MIX UP IN THE UTDS DEFENCE.

UTD STARTED STRONGLY AND WERE REWARDED WITH AN EARLY GOAL THROUGH ASHLEY SHEEHAN. MORETON HALL SOON EQUALISED WITH A SUPER STRIKE. MILDENHALL CONTINUED TO CREATE CHANCES WITH MICHAEL SEAFORTH AND OLLEY WADE FIRST CLASS IN MIDFIELD. MILDENHALL TOOK THE LEAD WITH AN EXCELLENT THROUGH BALL CAUSED THE HALL KEEPER TO RUSH OFF HIS LINE BUT A SUPERB LOB FROM JORDAN SCALES TO MAKE IT 2-1.
UTD WERE UNLUCKY NOT TO GO FURTHER INFRONT WHEN J. SCALES ROUNDED THE KEEPER BUT A EXCELLENT GOAL LINE CLEARANCE KEPT HALL IN THE GAME.
UTD CONTINUED TO CREATE CHANCES KEEPING THE EXCELLENT HALL KEEPER BUSY. MORETON LOOKED DANGEROUS ON THE BREAK BUT A SUPERB DISPLAY BY CAPT PRANGNEL, STROUD, BYRNE AND RANSLEY IN THE UTD DEFENCE KEPT THEM AT BAY.

A FINE DISPLAY FROM UTD IN A GAME WHICH UTD SCORED 8 BUT FOR THE WOODWORK ON FOUR OCASSIONS, FINE GOALKEEPING AND MISSED CHANCES UTD COULD OF DOUBLED THEIR TALLY. MILDENHALL PRODUCED A FINE PASSING DISPLAY AND DOMINATED FROM START TO FINISH WITH GOALS COMING FROM A JORDAN SCALES HATRICK, JAMES WARE, NATHAN KROGH AND ALSO A HATRICK FROM ASHLEY SHEEHAN. HOLBROOK SCORED MIDWAY THROUGH THE FIRST HALF TO MAKE THE SCORE 3-1 AT HALF TIME.

Mildenhall Utd moved top of division 2 of the Ipswich and Suffolk league following this win, Jordan Scales got Utd off to a perfect start with a first minute goal. Utd continued to dominate with several chances missed before Jordan Prangnell made it 2-0 from a corner. Mildenhall continued to test the Walsham keeper who had a great game but he could do nothing from an Ashley Sheehan strike and then Joseph Mcstroud made it 4-0 with a superbly struck shot, Walsham never gave up and got a well deserved conserlation goal.

MILDENHALL CONTINUED THIER GOOD PERFORMANCES WITH A CONVENCING WIN. HOWEVER SPARTANS STARTED WITH SCORING STRAIGHT FROM THE KICK OFF, THIS WOKE UTD UP AND THEY STARTED TO PLAY SOME NICE FOOTBALL AND CREATED CHANCES WITH A HATRICK FROM NATHAN KROGH, THEN SPATANS PULLED ANOTHER GOAL BACK MAKING THE SCORE 3-2 AT HALF TIME. MILDENHALL PROVIDED A LOVLEY SECOND HALF DISPLAY WITH GOALS COMING FROM JORDAN SCALES (2) ASHLEY SHEEHAN, MICHAEL SEAFORTH, ADAM BENTON AND OLLEY WADE TO KEEP MILDENHALL UTD TOP OF THE TABLE.

MORETON HALL MADE IT 1-1 FROM A CORNER, HALL THEN SCORED AGAIN WITH A SUPERB LOB THIS WOKE UTD UP WITH A FINE SOLO GOAL FROM JORDAN SCALES MADE THE SCORES LEVEL. MILDENHALL THEN PLAYED SOME LOVELY PASSING FOOTBALL WITH JAMES WARE SCORING AFTER A FINE RUN AND CROSS FROM SHEEHAN, JORDAN SCALES MADE IT 4-2 WITH SHEEHAN COMPLETING THE SCORING WITH HIS SECOND AND UTD'S 5TH TO KEEP

UTD PLAYED POORLY AGAIN ALTHOUGH ASHLEY SHEEHAN PUT THEM IN FRONT AND JORDAN SCALES SOON ADDED A SECOND, UTD CONTINUED TO WASTE CHANCES AND DID NOT ADD TO THIER SCORE TO EARLY IN THE SECOND HALF THROUGH NATHAN KROGH. MORETON HALL THEN PLAYED WELL TO PUT UTD UNDER PRESSURE AND SCORED 2 QUICK GOALS. HALL KEPT MILDENHALL ON THE BACK FOOT BUT THEY HELD OUT TO CLAIM 3 POINTS

Mildenhall Utd sponsored by FCUK secured another victory to stay 2nd in the Ipswich and Suffolk league. Utd played some fine flowing football and put the Stow Falcons defence under pressure. A superb 25 yard strike from W. Gibbs was pushed over the bar by Falcons keeper.
With G. Byrne and M. Seaforth running things in midfield Utd's passing and moving was a joy to watch. However Utd was unable to take the lead until the 53rd minute when Utd was awarded a penalty when W. Gibbs was bought down inside the box.
G. Byrne cooly slotted home the spot kick. Utd had few scares with Ransley, Prangnell, Stroud and Jarvis superb in defence. Mildenhall had F. Gammon to thank with a splendid save in the last kick of the game to secure Utd 3 points.

UTD PRODUCED A FINE DISPLAY, A GAME IN WHICH THEY DID NOT LET ABBEYGATE HAVE A SHOT AT GOAL. UTDS PASSING AND MOVEMENT WAS SUPERB AGAIN. JORDAN SCALES STARTED THE SCORING AFTER A FINE RUN AND CROSS FROM W. GIBBS. ASHLEY SHEEHAN SOON ADDED A SECOND. UTD CONTINUED TO MAKE CHANCES WITH MICHAEL SEAFORTH AND GEORGE BYRNE RUNNING THINGS IN MIDFIELD WITH SOME FINE PASSING, J. SCALES MADE IT 3-0 BEFORE HALF TIME.
UTD CONTINUED TO MAKE CHANCES AND SCALES SOON GOT HIS HATRICK WITH A SUPERB SHOT, JOE STROUD THEN MADE IT 5-0 DIRECT FROM A FREE KICK. J. SCALES THEN GOT HIS FOURTH AND UTDS SIXTH TO FINISH A FINE DISPLAY

Utd progressed into the semi finals of the KO cup after a thrilling cup tie. Bury took the lead after a fine through ball cut the Utd defence and a cool finish. Utd soon made it level after a fine run and cross was finished by Jordan Scales. Mildenhall continued to make chances and were rewarded when Michael Seaforth put Ashley Sheehan one on one with keeper and he made no mistake. Bury put Utd under pressure at the start of the 2nd half and deservedly got an equaliser after a defensive mistake. Mildenhall then stepped up a gear and Bury had their keeper to thank with some superb saves from A. Sheehan. J. Scales, M. Seaforth and G. Byrne, with the game then going end to end Utd had Steven Jarvis to thank for a goal line clearance, with the game still level after extra time the game then went to penalties. With the score level after 5 penalties each Scales coolly put Utd in front. Frank Gammon then put Utd through after a fine save.
