This church believes that God is Father, Jesus is Saviour and the Holy Spirit is the renewing power. We commit ourselves to seek God's guidance through prayer and understanding of His will. 2. People are valued equally and all are welcome at this church; all can minister and all have a ministry, but especially to witness His work in our lives, thereby increasing awareness of God's presence in the community and throughout the world. 3. It is central to our mission that we initiate, promote and expand partnerships with our neighbours: ecumenically with churches of all denominations, with and within our own Methodist Circuit and through outreach to organisations and individuals. In particular, we affirm our covenants with Churches Together in Witham and towards greater fellowship with The Church Of England. 4. We will particularly seek to support and protect the vulnerable or disadvantaged; we will seek to enhance the spiritual growth of the young and youth; we will make available the fellowship and facilities of our buildings to those organisations who serve the community's interests, and in so doing, witness our faith in His grace. 25th January 2004
