Hello, my name is Margaret Archer and I live in Bournemouth, England.  Welcome to my wonderful and wacky web site.  Now if I told you that I collected little sticky coloured pieces of paper, you would probably think I collected postage stamps and call me a Philatelist.  Well I do, (collect little pieces of paper), but I'm not a Philatelist.  I collect banana labels from all over the World.  Please take time to look at some of my collection and see the variety of interesting labels that are found on these fruits.

I bet you've never even really looked at them before!

I started collecting at the start of 2003, when I found some bananas with "Winnie the Pooh" stickers on.  They were so pretty, that I peeled them off and stuck them in a book.   My interest grew from there, but I always thought I was the only person who collected them.  Then one day, a friend told me he had seen on the Internet, sites of other people who had the same hobby and had been doing the same as me.

A hobby was born.  I now have 3500+ banana labels, but I'm only a baby.  Some have many more.  I trade labels with people from all around the World.  Bananas know no boundaries!  Every Nation enjoys this little pre-packed fruit in it's own yellow jacket.

So next time you buy a banana, delicious, healthy and high in potassium, don't throw the label away, but please save it and send it to me!
