Paddy is another rescue dog,we were't looking for another,we heard about Paddy through Animal Concern,a wonderful rescue charity,his owner had sadly died,so Paddy was looking for a home,we went to look at him,one look at those sad eyes and we were hooked,as I said Dachshunds are addictive.Unfortunately Paddy takes small seizures about once a month,we are working on it with our Vet.We have discovered he has mild epilepsy,and now on medication. Paddy is very happy and gets on well with our other Dachsies.
Now we are living with four Daschshunds,All completely different all so well loved,a love that is reciprocated.
Yes living with Dachshunds is a joy.Good news Paddy has been seizure free for eight months, thanks to our Vet.Sad news on The 3rd of January 2008 our sweet Paddy passed away,we are devastated.
Rest in peace Darling Paddy.
