The Parent Teacher Association at Lixwm School is called FROLIX (FRiends Of LIXwm School). The support they give to the school cannot be underestimated. Without their fundraising we would be with out so many things and the children would be denied so many experiences. They run two major fundraising events during the year – the Christmas Fair and the Summer Carnival. There are also other smaller events such as children’s fashion shows. Monies raised in the last few years have purchased the following:-

- Sports Equipment
- Stage lighting
- Coach costs for school trips
- Coach costs for swimming lessons
- Materials for making games
- Library Books
- Maths scheme
- History scheme
- Art scheme
- Reading books

They meet informally, often in The Crown (our local public house) with a glass of wine or a pint of beer, or after school in the school hall. Everyone is welcome, as many hands make light work; Dads too, this is not a Mums only group!
