Our Nursery offers places to children in our catchment area, whose 4th birthday falls on or between 1st September and 31st August in that academic year. Nursery children attend for 5 morning sessions. Forms for admission are available in January and acceptance is given in April.

There is a new initiative now available in Flintshire whereby your child may start to attend Nursery for up to two terms after they are 3. If their birthday is in the Autumn term, they may start school in January. If their birthday is in the Spring term (before 31st March) they may start school in the Summer term.

Once your child starts his or her full time statutory education in reception you have a free choice as to which school to choose. The planned admission limit for our school is 11 per year. If we have less than that number in the year group for your child, we can find a place for them. There are two occasions when we can exceed that limit; if you move into the catchment area or the child has a brother or sister currently in the school.

If you wish to transfer from another school, we simply ask that you speak to the Headteacher at your child's current school. Ask him or her to raise a transfer form so that we can ask for the records. All schools agree to this procedure so that we don't lose track of children in the education system and their education records are kept complete.
