COMPETITION NEWS North-West Open Karate Championship A couple of our junior competitors made their debuts; Connor Torris, Luke Withington and Michael Gale. Luke was outstanding when doing Kata and showed strong determination in the Kumite event. Both Michael and Connor performed admirably in Kata, Kumite and Ippon Kumite, both showed good attitude even when they were obviously in pain after getting caught with body blows, by fighting on to the end
